Our elegant, quiet and unique Bed and Breakfast is situated on the hill of Gianicolo, along a eautiful tree-lined road, that from 'the terraces of Rome' of Gianicolo and Fontanone comes down towards Trastevere, one of the most ancient and authentic district of Rome. The historic center is at your feet! Crossing the Tiber you are at Pantheon, Piazza Navona and Campo de' Fiori; or on Campidoglio, to the Foro Romano, to the Coliseum, to Fontana di Trevi, and then to Trinità dei Monti, and to the most famous streets for the exclusive shopping; coming down from the other side of Gianicolo you are at San Pietro and Vatican.

We reserve for our guests a whole part of the apartment. The top floor composed of 3 large double rooms (Loren, Magnani, Vitti), each one with a private bathroom (only Loren has the en-suite bathroom, Magnani and Vitti bathrooms are just outside the rooms). To Magnani room a single bed can be added. In Vitti room (that has a balcony beyond a window) has also a double sofa-bed.

All three rooms are large, full of light, with high and stuccoed ceilings, and are furnished with taste ... our taste ... always inspired by the fifties, the sixties, the seventies, and by the Italian cinema and music of that period. That's the reason why we have dedicated our rooms, also with photographs and books, to three icons of the Italian cinema oh those years: Anna Magnani, Sophia Loren and Monica Vitti.

In each room there is an independent air conditioning system. And there is a centralized heating system for the B&B area. The three bathrooms are elegant, each one with a comfortable shower, and one of them (the Magnani room one) with a large Jacuzzi.

The breakfast is served every morning at the penthouse, in the kitchen/dining room, or in the terrace when the season allows it, that means ... often! It is a continental breakfast, rich and tasty, also with homemade cake and biscuits.

Our guests can access wireless Internet in all B&B areas with their own PC; or they can use our PC for checking their mail.

Our guests have their own apartment key, with no time constrains.

We live here ... and it's not by case! We love this special area of Rome, and we love this apartment that we recently restored, saving where possible, vintage floors, stuccoes, doors; we furnished it with our passion for fifties, sixties and seventies, playing with black and white, with vintage furniture, objects, pictures, or simply with our family stuff.
